SUPER700 was founded in Berlin in 2003. The band consists of albanian singer Ibadet Ramadani, Johannes Saal on guitar, Simon Rauterberg on keyboard, Michael Haves on Bass and Sebastian Schmidt on the drums.

After SUPER700 emerged as Berlin’s number one pop underground darlings, they released a minialbum on 2005 which they produced themselves. The very next year in May 2006 they released their debut self titled album “super700” which was recorded under the supervision of Gordon Raphael who gained international success by producing The Strokes.

SUPER700 created waves on their consequent tour that also took them to Los Angeles and Vancouver.

In L.A. they played the Viper Room and The Key Club leading into an invitation by Radio DJ Nic Harcourt to perform a live set on his world famous radio show “Morning Becomes Eclectic” on KCRW.

Their second and recent album “Lovebites” was produced by Irishman Rob Kirwan (U2, Depeche Mode) and brought them on tour through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, South East Europe and China in 2009. “Lovebites” was released in China and Australia beginning of 2010.

To fit the music of SUPER700 into a style seems quite impossible to do. Yet in the need to compare names such as Talking Heads, Cocteau Twins, Blonde Redhead, The Cure, Goldfrapp, Blonde Redhead, Radiohead etc have fallen but making all comparissons fail, for they are just as unique as each one of them. SUPER700 does not sound like... but with Ibadet Ramadani lending her voice to this venture simply sounds like themselves.
